September Club Engagement Meeting

Our first Club Engagement Meeting of the Fall 2021 skating season was held on Zoom. In addition to our regular meeting agenda, we featured guest speaker Paula Thulin, Master Instructor Trainer for the Canadian Red Cross. Paula presented on a new program offered by the Red Cross on Psychological First Aid, which is based on the understanding that first aid for the mind is just as important as first aid for the body. She reviewed the content of the course, with our goal being to see if this is a course clubs would like to offer to coaches and board members.
