Supporting skaters and clubs in the BC Coast Region
We provide opportunities for skaters in the Coast Region of British Columbia to develop and progress by hosting and supporting competitions and skater development programs.
Our mandate also includes supporting clubs and club board members in our Region, by providing advice, education and access to resources to ensure their clubs’ and skaters’ success. We hold regular Club Engagement Meetings, where we welcome guest speakers to address topics of interest and importance to board members, coaches and skating parents. Competitions
The BC Coast Region hosts 2 regional competitions per year: Jingle Blades in late November and WinterSkate Regional Championship in early February. We also support numerous provincial and national competitions throughout the year through our network of dedicated volunteers.
Skater Development
The BC Coast Region provides skater development opportunities to skaters in the STARSkate stream from STAR 1 to Gold. We host seminars and workshops throughout the season, led by top Skate Canada coaches.
